Leah McGrath scored a brace on her Ireland U16 debut in yesterdays international friendly win over the Faroe Islands.
Leah has been in sparkling form for our Wexford Youths U17 team this season, the 15 year old striker having scored twelve goals in fifteen games.
The young girls in green had a comprehensive 5-0 win over the Faroes at Weaver Park, Drogheda with Leah coming on in the second half and finding the back of the net twice.
The Irish U16 team will play the Faroe Islands again tomorrow in another friendly, the game taking place at Home Farm FC in Dublin.
Leah will then join up with her Wexford Youths team mates for their League Tier One fixture against DLR Waves at Ferrycarrig Park on Saturday.
