Wexford FC are delighted to confirm that Kaylem Harnett will remain at Ferrycarrig Park for the upcoming season, continuing a remarkable journey with his hometown club.
A native of Wexford Town, Kaylem is one of Ireland’s top young talents. His pedigree was underlined when he was named Ireland U15 Player of the Year for the 2021/22 season, recognition of his standout ability at national level.
Kaylem’s story with Wexford FC is a special one. Having progressed through every age group in the club’s academy from U13 right through to the senior team, he signed a multi-year contract in 2024, becoming one of the first players in the club’s history to do so.
Since breaking into the senior side, Kaylem has made 68 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals in that time, and continues to develop into a key figure within the squad. His form during the current preseason campaign has been particularly impressive, reflecting both his consistency and hunger at a young age.
Wexford FC look forward to seeing Kaylem continue his development as he enters another important season with his boyhood club.
