The club are delighted to get the signature of Wexford native and top underage prospect Oisin McDonagh who has signed from Shamrock Rovers academy where he has been since the age of 14.
Oisin is a key member of Paul Osam’s Irish U16 squad and he recently played a key role in the tournament in Turkey finishing off with a convincing 6-0 victory over Greece. He is pictured alongside his father John at the signing at the Talbot Hotel, Wexford.
Oisin will come in and train with the first team squad and u 20s as he continues his development and progress!
Speaking to the club media team, Head of Football John Godkin was thrilled with the arrival of McDonagh:
“It’s a major coup to have Oisin return to Wexford FC and it demonstrates the ambitions and hard work that’s going on in the background at all levels of the club”
Welcome Oisin and wishing you every success!
