With the new SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division now just 31 days away, Wexford FC manager Hugh Strong and midfielder Aoibheann Clancy represented the club at todays Launch Event held at Vicar Street in Dublin.
The new season begins with the visit of Bohemians to Ferrycarrig Park on Saturday, 9th March.
At the Launch Event the FAI announced that the prize money for the Women’s Premier Division would be doubled in 2024, rising to €110,000.
Wexford will be looking to win a fifth League title, their first since 2018.
Peamount United took the honours in 2023 with Wexford finishing in a disappointing seventh place.
