Wexford FC Women manager Hugh Strong (pictured above) has assembled a fantastic backroom team for the new SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division season.
Seán Keane joins us as Assistant Coach this season. Seán has managed teams at SETU Carlow and has also coached with Galway United’s Academy.
Goalkeeping coach Graham Byas is also new to the club. The UEFA A Licensed GK coach has vast experience with League of Ireland teams including Shamrock Rovers, Longford Town and St Patrick’s Athletic.
Damien Byrne is no stranger to Wexford fans, having spent a number of seasons as our Head of Performance and Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Another new face to our backroom team this year is Athletic Therapist Peter Hempenstall who has worked with a number of amateur and professional clubs including the Irish National basketball team.
Our long time kit man Eddie Cullen needs no introduction of course, he has been with us for over a decade volunteering in various roles including as a cook, club shop manager and photographer.
