Wexford Youths Women return to League action with an away game against Bohemians at Dalymount Park tomorrow. It’s been almost a month since the Youths last game – a 4-0 win at home to Treaty.
Lizzy Kent’s team will be looking to make amends on their last encounter with the Dubliners, a disappointing 3-0 defeat at Ferrycarrig back in May with all three goals coming in the second half of the game.
Wexford are in a much better run of form this time around however and will be hoping for a third League win on the bounce after victories over Sligo and Treaty.
The hosts have had a good season (currently in fifth spot in the table) but have lost their last two League games, a 1-0 loss at home to Peamount United followed by a surprising 4-1 defeat to Sligo Rovers at The Showgrounds last week.
Three points for Wexford tomorrow will see them jump above Bohs and go into the top five.
In team news, Wexford will be without Della Doherty and Grace Fitzpatrick- Ryan who have long term injuries.
Siún Murdiff is on the mend from her ankle injury but is not too far away from a return. Rianna Jarrett is also an injury doubt for tomorrows game.
The game will be streamed Live on LOITV.
Kick Off at Dalymount Park is set for 6pm on Saturday, 7th October.
