Wexford FC Women continued their pre-season prep with a friendly against Bohemian FC at the Oscar Traynor Centre in Dublin today.
It was another competitive contest to add more minutes into the legs after last weeks game with Shelbourne.
New signing Jayne Merren made her first appearance for Wexford, the young keeper putting in a confident display after missing last weeks friendly through injury. Della Doherty also came on in the second half, the defender getting stronger with each passing week as she returns to full fitness from her long absence with an ACL injury in 2022.
Kylie Murphy also featured in the first half having missed last weeks game.
Wexford wore their new 2024 white away jersey for the first time today, the stylish new kit will be available to purchase at our club shop in Ferrycarrig when the new season gets underway.
Hugh Strong’s team will take on DLR Waves next week in another pre-season friendly and the League kicks off on Saturday, 9th March when Wexford take on Bohemians at Ferrycarrig Park.
