Wexford FC Women have been drawn away to Shamrock Rovers in the First Round of the Sports Direct Women’s FAI Cup. The fixture will take place at Tallaght Stadium week ending Sunday, 4th August.
Wexford drew 1-1 with Rovers in the League back in March. Both sides will be looking to the FAI Cup for a chance of silverware in 2024 after poor starts to their League campaigns. Wexford are seventh in the Women’s Premier Division table while Rovers have yet to win this year and currently sit in ninth spot.
