Wexford FC proudly announces the appointment of Conor Woods to our growing Academy Staff. Conor brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our club, further enhancing our commitment to excellence in player and education development.
Conor Woods has a varied and wide ranging background in football, boasting international experience with the FAI in both the men’s and women’s game at various ages, including underage and senior levels. His current international role is as GU16 Assistant Coach. His diverse skill set encompasses coaching, analysis, strength and conditioning, scouting, and pan disability programmes among others, garnered through his tenures at the FAI and three League of Ireland clubs.
Notably, Conor holds UEFA A Licence and UEFA Elite Youth A Licence Coach qualifications, underlining his dedication to coaching excellence. Furthermore, he is a distinguished graduate from SETU Carlow, holding a First Class Honours B.A in Sports Management & Coaching (Level 8) and a B.A with Distinction in Business Management & Sports Coaching (Level 7).
