In an exciting and empowering initiative, Wexford FC Women proudly announces the launch of the ‘Mnásome’ Campaign, set to kick off on April 27th during the home league fixture against Shelbourne. This game promises to be more than just a match; it will be an all-encompassing celebration of the remarkable women and girls of Wexford, spanning various domains including business, education, sport, arts, fashion, and food. Spearheaded by one of our former stars Linda Douglas, our Mnásome focus group, with an impressive line up, are intent on delivering not just an event, but a movement that Wexford can be proud of.
What Is the ‘Mnásome’ Campaign?
The ‘Mnásome’ Campaign is a bold and inclusive movement that aims to amplify the voices and achievements of women and girls in our community. From entrepreneurs and athletes to artists and culinary experts, the campaign recognises their contributions and resilience. It’s about breaking barriers, fostering collaboration, and creating a space where every woman and girl feels seen, heard, and valued.

Linda Douglas, a member of our founding Wexford family, is spearheading our ‘Mnásome campaign’, and looking forward to revealing the full event over the coming days and weeks. A past player, secondary school teacher come International Tag Rugby star, Linda embodies everything this movement strives to celebrate, and is excited to be heading back to Ferrycarrig Park!
