Wexford FC are delighted to announce the loan signing of attacking midfielder Ben McCormack from Waterford FC for the remainder of the 2025 season.
McCormack, 22, brings a wealth of top-flight experience to Ferrycarrig Park, having made over 100 Premier Division appearances. A product of the St Patrick’s Athletic academy, he was a key member of their senior squad from 2019 to 2023, winning FAI Cup medals in both 2021 and 2023.
He joined Waterford ahead of the 2024 season and has continued to impress, adding to his Premier Division goal tally, which now stands at five.
Ben adds creativity and experience to our midfield options as we head into the business end of the season, and we hope he will be available for selection in Friday night’s high-profile FAI Cup clash away to Shamrock Rovers.
