Wexford FC is delighted to officially confirm the signing of Billy Vance for our 2026 First Division campaign.
At 22 years of age, Vance arrives at Ferrycarrig Park with a wide range of experience. A standout at St Joseph’s Boys and Bohemians, he earned significant recognition as a teenager, representing the Republic of Ireland at various youth levels and scoring in the Victory Shield.
His enjoyed notable trial spells with French club Lyon and Dutch side Camber, and has spent the last number of seasons with Crusaders, Ballyclare and Crewe United in the Northern Irish leagues.
Known for his pace and technical ability on the wing, he joins Wexford looking rediscover the impressive form that made him a target for top clubs.
We are delighted to welcome a player with such a pedigree pedigree and a deep hunger to succeed to the frontline. Showing great determination in returning to fitness, Vance is now ready to showcase his quality in the Purple and Gold as the 2026 campaign kicks into gear.
