Wexford FC – Community Development Support Role
Alongside our new Community Development Manager position, Wexford FC is also seeking applications for a Community Development Support role.
This role will assist with the running of the Wexford FC Foundation and our wide-ranging community outreach work, ensuring that football is open and accessible to all. The position may be part-time or voluntary.
Key areas of involvement include:
- Supporting programmes such as Down Syndrome team, Powerchair football, Pan-Disability football, Asylum Seeker programmes, Street Football and Walking Football.
- Assisting with planning, coordination, and delivery of community sessions.
- Helping with communication and engagement with local groups, schools, and partner organisations.
What we’re looking for:
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a genuine passion for inclusion.
- A team player, willing to support the Community Development Manager and wider Foundation.
- Coaching experience or interest in developing coaching skills (desirable).
- Reliability and good organisational skills.
