After a hard earned weekend win at Turner’s Cross, Wexford welcome Cork to Ferrycarrrig Park for the return re-arranged fixture this evening.
Emily Corbet scored her third goal of the season in the 2-0 win on Saturday, the teenage striker in good form having also scored the last minute equaliser for the Youths in Limerick the week before.
It was a closely contested game for long periods at Turner’s Cross but the returning Kylie Murphy, Ciara Rossiter and Rianna Jarrett (who all came on in the second half) added that extra bit of experience to secure an important win.
Edel Kennedy, Shauna Carroll, Orlaith Deasy and Claudia Keenan are unavailable for selection this evening, as are Ellen Molloy, Della Doherty and Grace Fitzpatrick-Ryan through long term injuries.
Wexford will be looking for another three points tonight which will take them up to fifth in the Women’s Premier Division table (nine points behind leaders Peamount United).
City are still looking for their first win of the season.
Kick Off at Ferrycarrig Park tonight is 7:45pm.
Tickets are available at the gate.
Match Programmes also available at the gate tonight.
The match will be streamed Live on LOITV.
