Wexford will look to continue their strong run of home form this Friday night as they welcome Treaty United to Ferrycarrig Park.
Wexford are looking to go three home victories in a row, after victories over Athlone Town and Kerry FC in recent weeks.
However, Wexford’s recent form has not been helped with a hefty injury list, particularly in the midfield positions.
Aaron Robinson will be out for a good number of weeks following his injury away to Finn Harps, as will Thomas Considine as he continues to recover from the injury picked up last year, and also Evan Farrell who picked up an MCL injury on duty with the college side.
Conor Levingston, Kian Corbally, Brandon McCann, and Reece Webb are closer to a return, however this Friday may come too soon for some on that list. In the meantime, Darragh Levingston and new arrivals Aaron Doran and Corban Piper all put in impressive performances in last week’s game.
Treaty have not had the start they would have hoped for – they currently find themselves with 2 points from their opening five games, but James Keddy believes they will be a tough task on Friday night:
“Looking at Treaty at the minute they are in a false position, Tommy has worked wonders for his club
over the last couple of years. We expect a very competitive game this evening and we will do our best to be ready for the challenge.”
