Kylie Murphy was presented with a special commemorative jersey to mark her 300th Wexford appearance last night. The Wexford legend has captained the side from their very first game in the Women’s National League back in 2011 and over a decade later is still playing at the top level.
Kylie has won four League titles, four FAI Cups and two Shields at Ferrycarrig Park and in 2021 was named as WNL Player of the Year. She was also honoured with the Sportswriters of Ireland Women’s Personality of the Year Award that season.
Kylie has scored 114 goals in her 300 appearances for the club.
Nicola Sinnott made the presentation to Kylie ahead of last nights game against Peamount United which ended in a 1-1 draw at Ferrycarrig.
