We are delighted to announce that promising young defender Kian Dignam has signed a two year contract with Wexford FC!
The talented young centre back joined Wexford this year from St. Patrick’s Athletic, and has had an outstanding first year. After impressing with our U20 side, Dignam earned his opportunity with the senior squad and has recently established himself as a regular starter.
From Ashford, Co. Wicklow – he has made nine senior appearances across all competitions so far this year, looking assured and capable in his position.
Still early in his footballing career, he has been a regular presence in Irish underage squads and was a strong performer for many years in the Shamrock Rovers academy, before switching to St. Patrick’s Athletic in 2025.
