Mr. Wexford FC is back for his 9th season at Ferrycarrig Park!
Evan Farrell has been a stalwart of the club since first joining the club’s Talent Development Programme at age 11, and has played at the club through every age group up to and including senior LOI.
Now age 20, Evan Farrell is set for his greatest year yet in the senior League of Ireland.
Captivated by the club since being ball-boy on the night that Wexford Youths won the First Division in 2015, he has shown incredible consistency and determination year on year.
Consistently one of our academy’s top performers each year, Evan Farrell is surely the club’s greatest success story of player development. He has been an ever-present from the club’s entry point at the U11 Talent Development Programme all the way to senior League of Ireland.
Making his senior debut in 2021, Evan now has 30 senior appearances under his belt and scored his first senior goal on the final day of the 2021 season at Ferrycarrig Park.
In the 2023 season, Evan Farrell will line out alongside Danny Furlong. The same player who scored the goal that secured the First Division title on the night Evan Farrell was a ballboy.
At this time the club also sends a huge thank you to his parents, Mick and Tracy. Mick and Tracy have been invaluable club volunteers over many seasons, showing incredible generosity year-in, year-out.
