Fantastic achievement for Youths midfielder Edel Kennedy who made her 250th appearance for the club in last nights win over Treaty United.
Before kick off at Ferrycarrig – Pat Ronan and Eddie Cullen presented Edel with a special comemorative jersey to mark the historic occasion.
Edel signed for Wexford in 2011 and played in the inaugural Women’s National League.
She has won four League titles, four FAI Cups and two Shields during her time at Ferrycarrig and has competed in three UEFA Champions League qualifying campaigns.
Edel has also picked up two club Goal of the Season Awards and her outstanding volley winner in the 2021 FAI Cup Final will never be forgotten.
Edel joins Kylie Murphy and Nicola Sinnott in the 250 club at Wexford Youths Women.
