Fantastic news for Wexford Youths fans as Edel Kennedy re-signs for the upcoming season.
Edel has been part of our family from the very beginning.
She has made a remarkable 243 appearances for the Youths, making her Wexford debut in 2011.
In that time she has won four Women’s National League titles, four FAI Cups, two Shields, one League Cup and competed in three Champions League campaigns.
From scoring Cup Final winning goals to donning the gloves as stand in goalkeeper, Edel has been and continues to be a major driving force in our team and we are absolutely thrilled to see her back at Ferrycarrig for another campaign.
