Wexford FC are delighted to confirm that centre-back Dean Larkin will remain with the club for the 2026 season!
Larkin was a top performer for Wexford last year, establishing himself as a commanding presence in defence. His season was memorably highlighted by a remarkable hat-trick away at Finn Harps in September — a moment that will live long in the memory of Wexford supporters.
Speaking on the news, manager Stephen Elliott praised Larkin’s impact both on and off the pitch:
“Dean is a player with enormous potential. His attitude is second to none, and he is a natural leader within the group. He commands great presence both on the pitch and in the dressing room, and we can’t wait to work with him this year.”
Dean expressed his delight at continuing his journey with the club:
“I’m delighted to be back at the club for the new season and I’m looking forward to kicking on and achieving big things with the group.”
Everyone at Wexford FC looks forward to seeing Dean continue to play a key role in the squad during the 2026 campaign.
