Massive night as Wexford FC play host to Cobh Ramblers at Ferrycarrig Park!
It brings home two very familiar faces from two different eras – ex-Wexford Youths title winning manager Shane Keegan is now at the helm at Cobh Ramblers, while perennial goalscorer Jack Doherty makes his return to Ferrycarrig Park also for the Rams.
It’s been a lethal combination for Cobh this year, who find themselves comfortably within the playoff places all season.
Wexford FC had something of a return to form last week, with a 6-0 victory away to Kerry FC in emphatic fashion. Aaron Dobbs netted four times and all-time record goalscorer Danny Furlong added another two to his tally.
Elsewhere, it was confirmed this week that Jordan Adeyemo has departed the club by mutual consent.
In fitness news, Mark Hanratty was forced off last week but could be in line for a return at some point over the busy weekend. Aaron Robinson, Thomas Considine and Evan Farrell remain long term injury absentees.
