After another sensational season in the WNL, Wexford Youths Women’s Ellen Molloy has been nominated for the 2022 Irish Soccer Writers Women’s Personality of the Year Award.
The teenager scored 17 goals in 23 appearances for the Youths this season, one which was cut short with an ACL injury picked up in the title run in.
Molloy was also recently named on the SSE Airtricity WNL Team of the Year.
Youths Women’s captain Kylie Murphy had the distinction of winning the very first Women’s Soccer Writers Award in 2021.
The winner for 2022 will be announced on Saturday, 14th January.
