Orlaith Conlon and Ciara Rossiter were named Wexford Youths Women FC Senior Players of the Year at the Club Awards night.
Conlon was a constant calm presence at the back for the Youths in 2022, making twenty four appearances in total. Rossiter scored a career high nine goals in her twenty five starts for the club.
Ellen Molloy and Ciara Rossiter were also presented with awards in recognition of been named in the 2022 SSE Airtricity Women’s National League Team of the Year.
Kylie Murphy and Ellen Molloy were presented with special match balls to recognise their goal scoring achievements in 2022, thirty two goals scored between the two of them.
Edel Kennedy picked up the Goal of the Season Award for her stunning strike against Treaty at Ferrycarrig. Edel also won the award in 2021 after scoring a wonder goal in the Cup Final.
Edel presented the Club Person of the Year Award to Eddie Cullen for his huge contribution to the club. A man of many talents, Eddie has been a fantastic servant to the club from the very beginning.
Jess Lawler was named U19 Player of the Year, the young striker scoring twelve goals in her first season at the club. She also made 15 appearances for the Senior team, scoring three goals.
Nicole Delaney was named U17 Player of the Year, the pacy winger scoring a career high twelve goals in her second season playing in the Underage National League.
