Wexford FC are thrilled to unveil the signing of Wexford man Ethan Boyle!
Boyle is unquestionably one of the greatest players from County Wexford in recent decades – the former North End United man has starred for Finn Harps, Shamrock Rovers, and Waterford with over 200 senior League of Ireland appearances to his name already.
A signing many Wexford fans have been dreaming of for many years, we will finally be fortunate to see Ethan Boyle lining out for his home county at Ferrycarrig Park next year
A Wexford Town man, Boyle represented Ireland at underage level while playing with North End. He reached the senior LOI level in 2014 when he signed for Waterford United, before making the switch to Finn Harps in 2016. After two seasons in Donegal, Boyle was signed for Shamrock Rovers where he excelled for three seasons. After a short stint with Linfield, he returned to Finn Harps for 2021 and 2022 where he again played a key role in the Premier Division campaigns.
One of the biggest signings of the club’s history, we can’t wait for 2023 to begin!
Boyle is the fourth signing under James Keddy – joining Ben Lynch, Mark Hanratty and Aaron Robinson.
