We are absolutely delighted to announce the signing of Gideon Tetteh on a 1.5 year deal!
A product of the Shamrock Rovers academy, Gideon is a hugely talented left-sided attacker who made 6 senior appearances for the Hoops including featuring in their 2022 Europa League campaign.
He then had two impressive seasons in 2024 and 2025 at senior level with Athlone Town, where he scored 10 goals in 69 senior appearances across all competitions.
He moves to Wexford with massive potential, adding a lot to an already strong Wexford attack and ready to help with our playoff push in the second half of the 2026 season.
Away from his professional football career, Gideon is pursuing a degree in Chemistry with Artificial Intelligence at Dublin City University. A very genuine character and a perfect fit for Wexford FC, he will come straight into the squad for tonight’s clash with Kerry FC.
