Wexford FC Women are thrilled to announce the signing of Lauren Walsh for the upcoming season. The talented and composed defender joins from Waterford FC.
Lauren spent six seasons with Cork City progressing from their Academy and playing a key part in their senior squads making over 80 first team appearances.
She made the move to Waterford in 2025 and was ever present in the Blues line up, making 23 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three goals.
Lauren is now looking forward to starting a new chapter of her football career at Ferrycarrig Park in 2026 saying:
“I’m delighted to be signing with Wexford for the upcoming season. Buzzing to get going with the girls.”
Wexford FC Women kick off the new SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division season in March.
