We are thrilled to announce the granting of €2 million in funding from the Large Scale Sports Infrastructure Fund for the development of the new stadium for Wexford football in Wexford Town.
Minister James Browne along with Wexford County Council has yet again delivered for Wexford football with this grant of €2 million, along with the €373,841 Sports Capital Grant confirmed for the Enniscorthy Centre of Excellence announced in September this year.
This vital investment will enhance local sports facilities, improve the overall experience for fans, and support the Wexford footballing community.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making this project a reality. Together, we look forward to creating this new stadium that will serve as a hub for sports and community activities for years to come.
The club will immediately be linking in with Wexford County Council to progress this project.
