We are delighted to welcome back Grace Fitzpatrick-Ryan for the new season!
The talented Irish underage international defender makes a very welcome return from an ACL injury which forced her out of the action for most of last year.
Grace signed for Wexford in 2022 and played a starring role for our U17 team. It wasn’t long before she was called into our senior squad, her starting debut for the Women coming against Treaty United at Ferrycarrig Park in March of that year.
Grace was also a key player for the Ireland U17 team in 2022 in their push for UEFA EURO Qualification.
After scoring her first senior goal in a 2023 pre-season game against Cork, the seventeen year old was all set for a big year at Ferrycarrig but Grace’s season was cruelly cut short after suffering an ACL injury while playing in an U19 League game in May.
Grace has worked incredibly hard during her rehabilitation from injury and we are all looking forward to her return to the pitch this season.
