In a landmark day for the club, star underage player Kaylem Harnett has signed a two year deal on professional terms with Wexford FC.
The contract was signed at the Talbot Hotel Wexford tonight, with his father Paddy, coaches Mark Ralph and Pip Murphy, and John Godkin and Tony Doyle from the club management team.
A sign of the massive strides the club has made in the past year, we are thrilled to agree this deal with one of the finest young players Wexford has produced in the past several years.
Kaylem is one of the top performers among the international underage sides – he was awarded the U15 Ireland Player of the Year last season, and moved on to the U17 international side as a key player for Colin O’Brien in qualifying for the elite phase of the U17 European Championships.
We are dedicated to providing Kaylem and all other young talents in Wexford with all of the support and nurturing possible to help them reach their potential.
Congratulations Kaylem!
