#STRONGERTOGETHER

After a devastating blow to our results last week, the team, management, fans, and volunteers now have to put the pieces back together this Friday.  The season doesn’t stop so we can heal our wounds, and in truth maybe it’s for the best.  We are back in action at home against Bray on Friday night, ready or not.  The squad will be back in action, the stream will be back online, and we get a chance to put things right once again.

That’s not to say it’s been an easy week for anyone.  In tomorrow’s virtual match programme, manager Brian O’Sullivan gives a frank and honest message to the fans.   Be sure to read that tomorrow morning to kickoff your virtual match day experience.

Although it might feel like decades ago, Wexford FC and Bray have actually squared off twice already this season.  Wexford had a very good showing in the encounter at Ferrycarrig Park back in March this year, Janabi Amour put Wexford ahead on 56 minutes.  They looked to have it wrapped up in the EA Sports Cup until Joe Doyle scored an injury equaliser to put the match into extra time.  Doyle struck again in the second period of extra time to put the Seagulls into the next round of the cup.

In fitness news, Conor English remains a doubt as he returns from injury. Otherwise, Wexford FC have a fully fit squad available.
