Wexford Youths Women will kick off the 2020 WNL season at home to Bohemian FC on Saturday, 8th August. Nine clubs will take part in the competition this year with debut seasons for Athlone Town, Bohemian FC and Treaty United. This year also sees a new format to the League. In Phase One the nine teams will face each other once before splitting up into two sections for Phase Two which kicks off in October. The FAI Cup competition will also begin in October, the Final to be played weekend ending 16th December. 

Youths last won the League in 2018 (for a record 4th time) and manager Tom Elmes will be looking for another title push from his team after a 3rd place finish in 2019. Youths will also be defending their FAI Cup crown this season after been victorious for the third time in the competition last year, defeating Peamount United in the Final at the Aviva Stadium.
