Wexford return to face Treaty United this Friday at Ferrycarrig Park for a crucial game in the fight for the final play-off spot.   Treaty currently sit in 5th place with 19 points, while Wexford are 6th with 16 points. 

Wexford will also be looking to avenge Treaty's late late winner in their last encounter.  Treaty were victorious against Wexford in a tightly-fought game. A 92nd minute Stephen Christopher penalty secured a 2-1 win for Treaty.

However, 7 games have passed since then and Treaty have failed to win since that game against Wexford in mid-April. They have drawn 4 out of those 7 games, and will no doubt look to win again against Wexford as only 3 points separates the teams now.

Wexford on the other hand have won once since that Treaty loss, also with an impressive display that secured them a point against league leaders Cork before the break.

Wexford and Treaty both have similar home and away form respectively. Wexford have won 2 games at home this season from 8, while Treaty have won one game away in the same number of games. Similarly, Wexford have scored 8 goals at home compared to Treaty’s 7.

Wexford haven’t beaten Treaty yet, but now more than ever they will want to win and close the gap for the play-off spot.
