The Youths return to Ferrycarrig Park this Saturday in a crucial game at the top against Peamount United.

The Youths will look to narrow the 5-point gap between first-placed Shelbourne, as they face 9th place Cork.  There is also the possibility of the defeated side dropping to fourth, and if Athlone win against bottom side Treaty United.

Peamount will look to bounce back against the Youths. Their 1-0 loss to Athlone last week brought their winless streak to 3 games. The Youths come into this game on an impressive run of form, with 10 points taken from the last 5 games.

Wexford have displayed an impressive defence in home fixtures this season. They are joint second for the fewest goals conceded at home, with just 3.

The Youths will also look to get their own back against Peamount, after a 4-0 defeat to them last time out.

The Wexford defenders will need to keep an eye on the league’s top two leading goal scorers, Áine O’Gorman and Stephanie Roche, who have 10 and 7 goals respectively.

Tickets and match programmes are on sale to all at the ground.

The match will be available to live stream on LOITV.ie for free, simply register a free account to tune in.  Commentary this week from Ronan McCarthy and Nikki Dunphy
