Wexford Youths Women are delighted to welcome Sean Gahan to the coaching staff for the 2022 season.

Manager Stephen Quinn has named Sean Gahan as the Youths' head coach for the coming year.

Gahan has immense coaching experience, with 7 seasons under his belt with St. Patrick's Athletic.  He has twice coached the St. Pat's U17 side to the National League title, and has developed over 50 players to signing professional contracts, or play senior or international football, across Ireland, the UK and France.

He is currently a UEFA A License candidate, and has experience of the highest level as a match analyst in the FIFA Club World Cup with Al Ain FC.  He has graduated from Waterford IT with an MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology

Speaking to the club recently, Sean was excited for what lay ahead in 2022:

"I’m excited to get started in my new role with Wexford Youths Women.  Having worked with Stephen before and re-watched a number of last season’s games over the last few weeks, I’m delighted to be given the opportunity and feel it is a perfect step in my career.  The players hold themselves to the highest standard which creates a perfect environment for us to compete for trophies and reach our potential."
