Wexford Youths have the chance to overtake Peamount United for top spot this Saturday night

Wexford will need to continue their superb run of form to defeat Galway WFC for the third time this season, in order to close the gap at the top. With 18 goals scored in their last 6 games, the Youths Women come into this game with confidence, especially after putting 7 past Athlone last weekend.

However, it is a must win game to stay in with a chance of winning the title, with only a handful of games to go.

Since their surprising emphatic 6-1 win over Cork, Galway women have struggled to put the ball in the back of the net in their last 3 games, with a scoreless draw, a 2-0 loss to DLR Waves, and a narrowly contested 1-0 win against Treaty United. Galway Women will hope to pick up their run of form to ensure Bohemians don’t narrow the 4-point gap between them.

All are welcome to come and cheer on the Youths, with no capacity issues at Ferrycarrig Park.  If you can't be there on the night, join our free livestream on LOITV with live commentary from Ronan McCarthy and Nikki Dunphy

Kickoff at Ferrycarrig Park is set for 6.30pm.
