Wexford FC have been drawn against St Patrick's Athletic in the last eight of the Extra.ie FAI Cup, the game to take place weekending 19th September at Richmond Park. The Saints have been in excellent form this season, currently sitting second in the Premier Division table three points off leaders Shamrock Rovers. Alan Mathews's side kicked off their FAI Cup journey with a 6-0 thrashing of Bray Wanderers in the First Round before overcoming Cork City 4-1 in a penalty shootout at Turners Cross on Friday night (the game finishing 1-1 AET) to book their place in the Quarter Finals.

Wexford's path to the last eight saw comfortable wins over Cabinteely FC and Killester Donnycarney FC.

The sides have already met at Richmond Park this season, a pre-season friendly back in February which ended in a 4-0 win for the Saints.

The full draw is as follows:

Bohemians v Maynooth University Town

Finn Harps v Dundalk FC
