Wexford Youths Women U17 striker Katie Law has been named in the Republic of Ireland Women's U17 squad that will take on Northern Ireland in a set of friendly games to take place next week. Katie has been in excellent form for Youths U17 team, scoring five goals in five games in their National League campaign so far, Alan Browne's team currently top of Group C undefeated.

The talented young striker has recently dual signed with the Youths Women's senior team and made the first team squad for their last two Women's National League fixtures. Katie has already seen international action this year, appearing for Tom Elmes's Ireland U16 team in their recent international friendly games with England at the RSC.

Katie will join up with the her U17 international team-mates next week, the first friendly game against Northern Ireland set for Wednesday, 18th August in Dublin followed by a return fixture in Belfast two days later.
