ūüďł Tough one to take tonight. But heads up, back in action in seven days time at home to Bray. https://t.co/fzHLG5y1JU

Wexford Youths Women host Galway WFC this Saturday afternoon in an always enjoyable tie.

Wexford are starting to hit their stride, after back-to-back wins against Treaty United and Athlone Town has lifted them to second in the table.  Galway are breathing right down their necks though in third place, with the same record in their opening four games but worse goal difference.

Wexford made a major statement against Treaty United two weeks ago with a 7-1 win, but last week's encounter was a much closer affair.  A second half penalty from Kylie Murphy was all that separated the sides in the end.

Despite the good news this week in Covid restrictions, this match will also be played strictly behind closed doors.  Instead, you can watch our full match livestream on LOITV.ie, with live commentary from Ronan McCarthy and Scott Gaynor!

In team news, Lauren Kelly is coming close to full training but will play no part once again this weekend.  Aoife Slattery will also remain absent after her serious injury last year.  Orlaith Conlon is however available for selection, after being forced off against Athlone last week.

Kickoff at Ferrycarrig Park is set for 3.00pm
