📸 Tough one to take tonight. But heads up, back in action in seven days time at home to Bray. https://t.co/fzHLG5y1JU

Wexford Youths Women will look to make it two wins in a row when they host Athlone on Saturday evening

The Youths made a statement last week away to Treaty United, putting 7 goals past the Limerick side.  The win launched Wexford up to third in the table, and the Youths would go to second at least with a win on Saturday.

Particularly impressive at Jackman Park last week was Ellen Molloy, putting on a four goal masterclass.  The Youths will look to keep that momentum going and establish themselves as title challengers in 2021.

Athlone meanwhile have played just two games so far, losing 2-0 to Shelbourne on the opening day and 3-3 draw with Treaty United.  It is somewhat difficult therefore to know how they have developed in their second season in the Women's National League.

As with all WNL games this year, this match will be livestreamed completely free on LOITV.ie.  Join Ronan McCarthy & Scott Gaynor for full match commentary from 6.25pm on Saturday evening.  You can also look forward to your free match programme on the morning of matchday.

In team news, the Youths are still without Lauren Kelly and Aoife Slattery with longer term injuries.

Kickoff at Ferrycarrig Park is set for 6.30pm
