RT @JamesjQuinn: Brilliant insight into his career so far and what it takes to get to the highest level of football in the country from @Os

Ciara Rossiter has been voted Wexford Youths WFC Senior Player of the Year after another brilliant season at Ferrycarrig Park, the 24 year old has been with the club since 2012. The Wexford native started in all 14 competitive games for the Youths this season, scoring two goals. 'Rossi' has had to battle back from a season ending ACL injury in 2016 but is clearly now back to her best having topped the public vote to capture the 2020 Player of the Year award.

Ciara although disappointed with a rare trophy-less season for the Youths this year is looking forward to getting back together with the team in 2021:

"There's still a core group that's been there from the start like Kylie and Nicola and absolutely everybody who has come in has just fitted in so well, everyone's personality fits in and are so hard working, it's like a proper family. Obviously this season was fairly dissapointing, bad in general with everything going on but next year we'll be aiming to try win everything and do better."
