Wexford FC RT @YouthsWomen: ⚽️ Goal number two for @RiannaJarrett from tonight’s 2-1 @YouthsWomen win over @CorkCityFCWomen at Ferrycarrig Park, assis…

The U17s and U15s draws for the Shield have been confirmed, our U17s will first take on Waterford FC this weekend at Ferrycarrig Park in the Quarter Finals of the 17s Shield. Our U15s have a long journey ahead of them in two weeks time when they travel west to take on Sligo Rovers in the Semi Finals of the 15s Shield. Our U19s were unlucky to lose out in a penalty shootout this weekend against Shelbourne FC at Ferrycarrig to halt their progress in the competition.

Billy Mollys 17s have already met Waterford on three occasions this year, twice in the League and also in the Mark Farren Cup, and have won all 3 (including 2 stunning late comebacks) so another tight tense South East Derby is expected on Saturday at Ferrycarrig. Kick off is at 1pm.

Mark Dorans 15s have been on a super run, nine games unbeaten, and go straight through to the Semi Finals after topping their difficult group with a game to spare. They face a strong side in Sligo Rovers who also topped their group in style, scoring 25 goals and conceding just 3 times in their 6 games. The venue and time have yet to be finalised but the game is due to be played on the weekend of October 20th/21st.
