Our U15's travelled to Cork to face Cobh Ramblers this afternoon, knowing that a win would guarantee them a place in the quarter finals.

Although Wexford scored 9 without reply against the same opponents in the opening game of the U15 season, they struggled to find the breakthrough in this game, and had Brian Byrne to thank for the 3 points when he bundled the ball over the line with just 5 minutes remaining.

The win puts Wexford on the top of the pile, with only Waterford and Limerick in touching distance. Because these two face each other in their final match, the lowest we can finish in the league table is 2nd, which means we have now qualified for the next stage
