Following in the footsteps of the senior team on Friday night, each of our underage teams faced Waterford FC over the course of the weekend.

First up, were the under 17s on Saturday. They made the short trip to the RSC to take on the table-toppers. They didn't get the start they would have hoped for, and found themselves a goal down through a Travers Devlin O.G. Things looked brighter however, when Adham Masood equalised in the first half. Waterford however, proved why they are champions of the Southern section, by adding 3 more goals to run out as 4-1 winners.

Wexford FC U17: Colum Feeney, Jack Gallagher, Conor Signorelli, Brandon Deady, Cian Foley, Reece Murphy, Patrick Barron, Adham Masood, Liam Berry, Caellum Travers Devlin, Oscar Smith. Subs: Craig O'Reilly, Jason Daly, Ciaran Page, James Esser.

In Ferrycarrig Park on Sunday, there was unfortunately not much in the way of action for the under 19s. The biggest talking point of the first half was Cian Doyle receiving a straight red card. Defences remained on top for the remainder of the match, and the 0-0 scoreline meant a point for each team.

Wexford FC U19: Alan Maher-Broderick, Adam Feeney, Adam Rochford, Cian Doyle, Martin O'Connor, Mick Gardiner, Dean George, Danny Doyle, Dylan Bradley, Robbie Kane, Yaw Aboagye. Subs: Dion Murphy, Michael Murphy, Craig O'Reilly, Jack Gallagher, Liam Berry, Adam Dempsey.

The final game of the weekend, seen the so far unbeaten U15 squad travel to the RSC. It all started well for the visitors when Brian Byrne turned in Graham O'Reilly's cross. Waterford equalised shortly after through Donal Porter. When Wexford were awarded a penalty right on the stroke of half time, Darragh Levingston stepped up, but seen his spotkick saved by the home 'keeper. In the second half, Waterford added goals through Ian Byrne and Kyle Cuddy. Wexford had another chance to score when they were awarded a second penalty, but this time Evan Farrell was denied by the 'keeper.

Wexford FC U15: David Murphy, Sean O'Brien-Murphy, Kyle Scallan, Dylan Whelan, Darragh O'Donoghue, James Dowling, Luke Greene, Graham O'Reilly, Darragh Levingston, Evan Farrell, Brian Byrne. Subs: Cormac Bruce, Cian Kinlough, Cormac Doyle, Darragh McGuire, Rian Fitzpatrick, Brody Murphy, Shane Gibson.
