Wexford Youths Women host Kilkenny United at Ferrycarrig Park this Saturday, with the tantalizing prospect of having both Rianna Jarrett and Katrina Parrock on the pitch.

Wexford Youths started off the second half of their season with a 2-0 win against Galway WFC in Limerick last weekend.  Rianna Jarrett made her first appearance for over a year following a major injury absence, coming on as a substitute in the second half.  Former All-Ireland Camogie and All-Star winner Katrina Parrock could also feature this Saturday night.

Kilkenny have also brought in a major name during the mid-season break, appointing former Shelbourne LFC man Casey McQuillan as their new manager.

Speaking ahead of the game manager Laura Heffernan was cautious of the possibility of a resurgent Kilkenny performance:

"We will be hoping to try and build on the momentum of last week's game, despite Kilkenny's recent results we will be very wary of the threat they will bring.

Casey is a great manager with years of experience and they gave us a tough game the last time we met in the Watershed. We won't be taking anything for granted.
"

Both Katrina Parrock and Rianna Jarrett will be available for selection for Saturday night's game. Goalkeeper Sophie Lenehan will be unavailable, allowing Tamara Furlong to take up a position in the starting eleven.  There will be late fitness tests for Lauren Dwyer, Jess Gleeson and Emma Hansberry.  Edel Kennedy remains sidelined through injury.

Kickoff at Ferrycarrig Park is set for 7.30pm

There will be live audio commentary of the match on www.wexfordfc.ie/commentary
