Wexford FC We kick off our 2018 season in Stradbrook on Friday night @Cabinteely_FC but here’s a reminder of our fixtures for… https://t.co/4BIi3JjsV8

After last weekend's disappointment in Longford, Wexford will be hoping to put on a better performance when they travel to Cobh on Friday evening.

Wexford will be without defender Ross Kenny, and midfielder Thomas Croke who are suspended after each collecting 5 yellow cards. Adam Hanlon is still ruled out with a hip injury, but is expected to be back to full fitness for the second half of the season, and Lee Duffy will also miss out with a foot injury. Eoin Porter continues to miss game time due to study leave.

Damian Locke's depleted squad will be bolstered by the inclusion of under-19 players Craig Hayes, Dean George and Vinny Quinlan.

Kick off in St Colman's Park is set for 7:45pm
