Wexford FC will be hoping that 13 is the lucky number, as after 12 weeks of action they are still in search of their first league win of the season.

Wexford were unlucky to again be left with nothing after the 0-1 defeat at home to Waterford last time out. In a game where they were the superior team for large chunks, there were numerous chances created, but applying the finishing touch continues to be a problem.

Speaking to Beat 102-103 after the game, manager Damian Locke was pleased with the performance. "It's a great performance, but that doesn't always give you what you want. We know and the players know that if we perform like that every week, things will come right. I certainly believe that we have the players to finish the chances, but it's just not happening for us at the moment"

Locke has a full squad available for selection this weekend, with the exceptions of Adam Hanlon who missed the derby defeat after picking up a thigh injury in training in the build up, Craig Wall who continues to struggle with a shoulder injury, and Eoin Porter who has been granted study leave.

After being described as "our best player tonight" by Thomas Croke after the last match, Danny Doyle will look to continue his run of starts. The Carlow native has really stepped up in recent weeks and it's surely only a matter of time until he is hitting the back of the net on a consistent basis.
